Welcome to the South Shore of Cameron Lake
Where we are:
Cameron Lake is located between Balsam Lake and Sturgeon Lake on the Trent- Severn Waterway. The south shore sits along County Road 8 within walking distance of Fenelon Falls. This village is known as the Jewel of the Kawarthas and is alive with events and activities throughout the year. Great restaurants and shops combine with special attractions such as the famous Santa Claus parade and the spectacular Canada Day firework display to make Fenelon Falls a destination of choice.
What we do:
The CLSSCA (Cameron Lake South Shore Cottager’s Association) helps seasonal and permanent residents of Gardiner Road, Grove Road and other South Shore cottagers keep abreast of issues impacting life in the Kawartha Lakes. Over the years the CLSSCA has provided a mechanism that has allowed our collective voice to be heard at various levels of government.
Why join the South Shore Cottager’s Association:
- Road maintenance issues are addressed regularly
- FOCA Membership (Federation of Ontario Cottagers’ Associations) keeps us informed
- Environmental information and other updates are presented at the Annual general meeting
- Develop support through a strong relationship with our councillor
- Working together to protect our rights and the value of our properties
- A great way to strengthen ties with your southshore neighbours and the community
