The South Shore Cottager’s Association was formed because there were issues that were of concern to all. Throughout the years several presidents and executive members have worked diligently with various levels of government to find solutions to matters that made life on the south shore so much better. Things have been running smoothly for many years now. At the same time our executive team has continued to maintain and strengthen relationships with the City of Kawartha Lakes and FOCA. Being informed of possible policies and legislation allows us to know when and if we need to be involved more actively.
Having a combined voice is important for us all so being a member of CLSSCA supports that end:
- Have a larger presence with the City of Kawartha Lakes
- Protect our property values
- Be informed on issues impacting water quality
- Maintain our cottage roads
- Continue the highly valued South Shore community
- Make a safe place for our children to enjoy summer
Membership dues are collected at the annual meeting held the long weekend at the beginning of July. Late payments can be made to Scott McDairmid.
